About the Opportunity
The Senior Team Leader (Customer Experience) works within the Leisure Services Department to drive the community connectivity and health outcomes throughout Mitchell Shire Council by leading innovation, technology, and staff development. The Senior Team Leader will support the Leisure Services Coordinator in strategic planning and execution of projects, Lead the Health and Fitness Team, Customer Service Team, Creche Team, manage marketing, sales and communications activities as well as champion our point of sale system, admin and finance activities.
This role is a permanent opportunity with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $96.3K to $107.6K (Band 7) plus superannuation.
About You
We are looking for a professional who has strong leadership skills as well as strength in planning, managing and operating aquatic and fitness facilities. You will have well developed strategic management and business planning skills and can drive innovation to the centres. Strong business acumen is required with financial management skills, including the ability to manage the budgets and forecasts of multiple leisure facilities as well as project management experience, including knowledge of procurement and contractor engagement.
Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (Mandatory)
- Current CPR Certificate (Mandatory)
- Pool Lifeguard (Desirable)
- Fitness Australia Registration (or equivalent) (Desirable)
- Cert 4 in Fitness, Personal Training or Similar (Desirable)
