One of Australia's prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Power BI Developerto play an essential support role to the Executive and project team within the business unit. You will provide timely, efficient and effective high level office administration and executive support. The Successful Power BI Developer will be offered an initial 6-month contract with a 6 month extension and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful Power BI Developer will be responsible for the below:

• Undertake Power BI development to provide business users with actionable business intelligence
• Identifying and investigating data sources by liaising with a diverse stakeholder group
• Conducting problem investigations to identify root causes and develop actionable solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse multi-streams data requirements

 The successful Power BI Developer will have experience in the following:

• Experience in business analysis and product design, capturing and interpreting business requirements/ processes
• Technical competence and experience with business intelligence solutions
• Developing meaningful data visualisations
• Designing and implementing business solutions, with an appreciation of user interface considerations
