What you’ll be doing

Atturra is looking for a driven and motivated Power BI Developer to design and build systems and applications for Atturra’s clients within a Federal Government project. 

Atturra is seeking candidates who have a passion for innovative technology and driving customer transformation. This person must be able to communicate with a variety of different audiences and must have strong presentation skills. The ability to work in a cohesive team (Atturra and the client team) is important for this role.  

This role will be a 2-year contract, commencing in August and you MUST have an active NV1 Security Clearance to be successful. 

Responsibilities: 

• Establish business intelligence best practices, including architecture and governance. 
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs and develop effective BI solutions. 
• Help to develop datasets that are high quality, well-modelled, and available where/when needed. 
• Assist with business uptake of BI reports, dashboards, and self-service literacy, including through workshop facilitation. 
• Perform analyses and data visualisation to uncover business insights. 

What will make you successful in this role? 

Technical Requirements:  

• Experience in integrating Power BI and Power Apps  
• Expertise in creating and maintaining Power BI reporting products and dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL server DB query design
• Experience in Data Modelling using SQL Server Visual Data Modelling tools, M/PowerQuery, DAX, and similar methodologies
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Work with end users to understand their reporting and data needs, and design and develop BI solutions to meet these needs 
• An active NV1 Security Clearance is a MUST to apply for this role
