Position Summary:
- The Power BI/Apps Specialist would be collaborating with a client to enable them to support various projects and solutions.
- You will collaborate with client to drive business by analysing and visualizing raw data to present actionable information.
- You will be able to design, sell and implement client friendly data views, be adept at understanding how data should be leveraged and presented, and be able to identify redundant data.
- You will be adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality, be proficient working in Agile project methodologies, be confident to multi-task effectively between projects.
- You will also be responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines as well communicating proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in the Microsoft BI with a solid grounding in Power Platform MS PowerApps.
- Be an expert in Data analytics.
- Be able to import data from multiple data sources.
- Experience in manipulating data.
- Experience in Data modelling in the query editor.
- Table relationships and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
- Able to Install and configure data gateways.
- Proficient in Developing of Azure logic apps and functions and Power BI development.
- Be able to provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
- Be able to estimate work effort and create project plans.
- Strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
- Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming; experience with SharePoint 2016, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript.
- Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.
- Experience developing PowerApps model/canvas apps including data connectors.
- Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
- A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
- Knowledge of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and features included in different plans.
- PL300 certified.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design solutions in accordance with client requirements.
- Advise client on best practices in the use and implementation of Power BI solutions.
- Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
- Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.
- Building data visualizations and reports.
- Mentoring of team members.
- Guiding people of completion of PL300 certification.
- Create and apply test build scenarios to upskill team.
- Able to interpret and design database models (Dataverse, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
- Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
- Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
Salary Range: >$100,000
