Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package (WTP)
A consortium between Gamuda Australia and Laing O’Rourke has been awarded a $2.16 billion contract on the Sydney Metro West project. The project involves nine kilometers of twin metro rail tunnels between Westmead and Sydney Olympic Park, excavation for two new metro stations, a stabling and maintenance facility at Clyde and a precast facility at Eastern Creek.
The Gamuda Australia Laing O’Rourke Consortium is looking for a recently graduated Data Analyst (Reporting Coordinator) with 1-2 years professional experience and who is fully proficient with the use of Power BI to join our Digital Engineering Team.
You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of IT and reporting systems. You will assist the Digital Engineering Manager with the integration and automated reporting for all departments to achieve consistent and effective monthly reports for the project, client and corporation.
About the Role
- Developing and providing reports on key performance indicators as required.
- Quality control and auditing of data entries into the various system registers.
- Assisting with the continued growth and development of the transition to digital reporting.
- Developing & Documenting data pipelines and data lineage.
- Liaising with all business departments and management levels to ensure the quality of the data meets the reporting requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be seen as a trustworthy resource.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, engineering or a related field.
- Experience in data visualisation or equivalent report building.
- Experience in Power BI or other data analytics tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Google BigQuery data warehouse or Microsoft SQL Server.
