The Role
As an Electrical or Electronics engineer in this role you will contribute to the development of a portfolio of renewable energy projects including the production of green hydrogen, ammonia, minerals, and more.
Whilst your role may vary, you will typically be responsible for:
- Design and delivery of power electrical or electronics systems for heavy mobile equipment, rail locomotives, and other green fleet developments aligned with compliance and Australian standards
- Review and validate various Power Electronics and electrical system designs and associated components
- Provide technical assistance on power electrical or power system related works
- Develop technical specifications to meet project objectives
- Liaise with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of the project
- Provide regular updates to the Principal Electrical Engineer
About You
- Bachelor of Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering essential, with a major in Power Electrical Systems advantageous
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with green fleet development advantageous
- Knowledge of and proven adherence to standards and regulations associated with electrical system design
- Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team and effectively engage stakeholders
