About the role:
Join Origin Energy's Power Generation team for a full-time permanent position as a Power Worker at Eraring Power Station, Australia's largest power station. Work alongside Operators and seek guidance from senior staff on technical matters.
Why this role matters?
-Attend breakdowns and perform rectifications
-Manage and prioritize backlog tasks
-Adhere strictly to safety and risk management policies
-Perform advanced-level rigging tasks
-Operate mobile (over 25 tonne) and overhead cranes
-Execute basic tool work on identified tasks
-Maintain general cleanliness and assist tradespeople
-Provide administrative support
-Operate mobile plant equipment such as EWP and forklift
 
What will you bring?

-Willingness to work shifts
-Valid driver’s license / HR Licence
-Advanced Rigging (RA) License
-Slewing Mobile Crane (C6) License
-Forklift and EWP License
-Proven track record as a safe, independent worker
-Ability to work well in a team
-Proficiency in reading, writing, and numeracy
