Federal government agency responsible in delivering high-quality, accessible services to support all Australians. Currently seeking a highly skilled Power BI Project Officer to join their busy team for a temporary assignment until June 2024.
About the role
As a Power BI Project Officer, you will provide support to several related projects within a specific program. You will monitor project schedules and budgets, prepare progress reports, and liaise with key stakeholders. In addition, your key duties are as follow:
- Support the provision of Secretariat services to multiple senior Executive interdepartmental committees
- Support the mapping of business processes, stakeholder engagement, workshopping process outcomes and coordinating stakeholder input, rollout of protocols across the Division
- Oversee risk management across the Division
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide expert advice to staff and stakeholders regarding policy, procedures and programs
- Analyse and report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance
- Prepare draft reports, briefing papers, and Ministerial correspondence for review by senior staff
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar Program or Project Support role, ideally within the government space
- Experience using SharePoint, developing content and implementing new tools using PowerApps
- Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High-level analytics skills
- Negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships
- Temporary assignment until end of June 2024
- $60- $65 per hour + super
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- February start pending clearances
- Brisbane location
