About YOU
We are looking for an Account Manager with a passion for technology PR, a curiosity for what innovation will come next, and a love for unlocking creativity to bring a story to life for some of the world’s most exciting brands.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience to manage PR campaigns, providing insightful clients counsel, and a deep understanding of the Australian and New Zealand media landscape.
You’re a natural storyteller and writer who can drive communications strategies and media programs for clients across multiple sectors.
You are a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a diverse client portfolio.
Who are WE looking for?
An Account manager will be responsible for carrying out activities to assist in achieving a client's communication goals with the highest quality of content, staying updated on the latest knowledge on the general technology and local media landscape and specific clients' context.
As an integral part of our day-to-day operations, you'll manage ongoing client activities, seamlessly navigate diverse tasks and integrated campaigns, and collaborate with senior managers, client service, creative teams, and other specialists. Your role extends to supporting multiple clients and agency initiatives in our fast-paced environment.
You must have an outstanding client consultant and enjoy thinking of new and insightful ways of developing impactful campaigns for clients contributing to the new business pipeline and developing proposals.
Most importantly, you must be able to juggle between tasks, you must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the team and tasks, show a general curiosity and hunger to learn about everything., and mentor junior team members in the technology and wider business.
What set YOU apart?
- Ideally, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate studies in public relations or equivalent and 4-6 years' experience within PR agencies.
- Based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.
- Experience working with large multinational brands and technology companies.
- Established relationships with Australian and New Zealand media.
- Sharp eye for what drives conversations and generates news at scale.
- Close attention to detail and management skills.
- Superior writing skills across earned, owned and paid campaigns.
- An understanding of the APAC technology landscape focusing on Australia and New Zealand.
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills.
