Key responsibilities include:
- Keep on the pulse with daily trending news and topical moments which translate to PR & Brand Activation ideas.
- Proactively identifying and develop PR & Brand Activation opportunities which help drive brand awareness and talkability.
- Work closely with the internal teams and agencies to drive exciting PR-able moments and drive brand fame.
- Work with the Sportsbet’s Partnerships team to identify opportunities with existing partners across sport (AFL & NRL), racing (MRC and SA Racing) and ambassadors to drive brand awareness.
- Help develop and execute the annual PR & Brand Activation schedule.
- End to end execution of all PR and Brand Activation initiatives.
- Managing all Media Releases.
- Manage and develop key media relationships (mainstream, lifestyle and industry/trade).
- Work with Communications Manager (Sydney) on reporting and media monitoring of all PR and Brand Activations.
