Pr Senior Account Manager - Melbourne

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Account Director, you are client focussed and able to support the management of a campaign from start to finish, collaborating across teams to build a strategy, ideate PR programs, and supervise roll-out across PR, social, influencers, content and activations.

You have several years’ experience working in Public Relations (either agency or in-house), and your skills are easily transferable across a range of clients including Not-for-profits, government and B2B clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage client accounts
• PR ideation and strategy development
• Monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Must haves:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a public relations role with agency/consultancy
• Proven media relationships - media relations to achieve positive coverage for clients
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Experience with proposals, tenders and new business pitches
• Relevant tertiary degree in communications or related discipline
• Knowledge of modern communication methods (social media platforms and mobile apps)
