Practice Group Leader
Sydney CBD | Full-Time | $90,000 - $100,000 plus super (dependant on experience)
Join a leading national law firm who specialise in personal injury claims in Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PI Legal Secretary to take the next step in their career in this Practice Group Leader role. Our client has a positive and supportive working environment and strives to nurture and develop their team.
The Role:
This role has been newly created due to the significant growth and success of the firm. The Practice Group Leader will work closely with the Operations Manager and provide guidance to a team of secretaries. Duties may include:
- Creating, scheduling and facilitating training sessions for new and existing staff
- Assisting the Practice Groups to ensure efficient work practices and acting as the point of contact for all related enquiries
- Reviewing new precedents, workflows and internal processes
- Flag and assist in addressing concerns in staff development and process inefficiencies
- Ad-hoc file reviews to provide feedback on performance and file management
- Regularly reviewing and updating the firm manual in collaboration with the Systems team.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years of personal injury matters and procedures experience as well extensive experience working within the legal industry. You will also have the below skillset, and values:
- Experience in training other team members
- Tech savvy including proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (required) and good working knowledge of Practice Evolve legal software (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dynamic and positive personality with an aptitude for learning and development
- Highly organised, reliable, motivated and able to maintain a strong attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities
- Ability to take initiative, be flexible and work collaboratively in a team environment
