About the role
Must be available Monday –Friday. Best Practice knowledge or similar needed
Responsibilities:
• Welcoming all patients
• Answering telephones
• Actioning emails
• Scheduling Patient Appointments for GPs
• Triage
• Invoicing all patients - Private and direct billing
• Submitting Medicare and DVA billing batches
• Workcover claims
• Settlement of EFT/HICAPS terminal
• Processing HICAPS payments
• Liaising with medical specialists, pathology, radiology
• Scanning, faxing & outgoing mail.
• Handling general enquiries
• General administration and clerical duties.
• Daily light cleaning duties of kitchen, reception, and waiting room areas.
• Banking/ Post Office when required.

Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Best Practice Software or similar essential
• Ability to work individually and part of a team.
• Professional presentation
• Strong customer service skills
• Good computer skills
• Reliability with a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the team.
• Current Driver's License
Preferred but not essential.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in generalpractice.
• Current CPR certificate
