The Role:
Are you a passionate and organized leader looking to propel your career in healthcare management? This Practice Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the smooth operation and financial health of our medical centre. You'll enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with a strong work-life balance while making a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the centre, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
Provide direction and support to the reception team, maintaining high-quality service for patients and doctors.
Analyse performance metrics and collaborate with the Business Manager to develop strategic plans.
Oversee accreditation programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the centre's staff.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
Facilitate doctor-patient communication and establish a collaborative practice environment.
Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain patients.
Partner with the clinical team to maintain infection prevention, equipment maintenance, and sterilizations standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical centre setting.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and confidentiality protocols.
Knowledge of Medicare processes and applications (a plus).
