The Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operational management of Wanniassa Medical Centre. This role is critical in ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of our practice, leading our administrative team, and maintaining the high standard of care we provide to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day management of the practice to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and develop the administrative team, fostering a supportive and efficient working environment.
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing processes, and other administrative duties.
- Handle financial management tasks, including budgeting reporting and accounting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within the practice.
- Coordinate with medical staff to support and enhance patient care services.
- Familiar with the Accreditation process with AGPAL
- Implement quality management and continuous improvement strategies.
- Address patient feedback and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, suppliers, and community groups.
- Proven experience in a Practice Manager role, preferably in a healthcare setting for at least 2 years.
- CDM understanding and nurse management skills advantageous
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in medical software and administrative systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Cubiko, AutoMed and HotDoc experience is desirable.
- Qualification in healthcare management or a related field is desirable.
