Form of workOphthalmic Specialist Practice operating mainly out of two locations- Mawson Lakes and Elizabeth Vale. Services are provided by highly skilled specialist ophthalmologists and orthoptists catering to adult as well as pediatric patients.
We are a growing practice with strong patient focus and we need an experienced Practice Manager who is looking to further his or her skills whilst working with a team of professionals. They must be motivated to provide excellent patient care, revise and refine systems, processes and procedures to create a cohesive, productive work environment and improve patient services.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience of at least 2 years as a medical/dental Practice Manager
- Excellent operational skills
- Provide hands-on reception duties
- Create and implement practice procedures
- Strong computer literacy- Microsoft Office, Excel, outlook etc and general IT skills
- Must be a great team leader with excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Experience in human resources, staff recruitment and performance management
- Payroll experience
- Sound knowledge of medicare and private health billing
- Business development interest
- Achieve Key performance indicators (KPI) across all areas of the practice
- Formal training in practice management is desirable
- Previous experience of Genie medical software is desirable
