Join Kingsley Vet as a dynamic Practice Manager and lead our team in the northern suburbs of Perth. Established in 1985, we pride ourselves on being a 100% small animal clinic with a dedicated client base.
As the Practice Manager, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of outstanding and professional services to our valued clients and their pets. This multifaceted position encompasses financial responsibility, debt control, client complaint resolution, roster coordination, team mentoring, and premises management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivation of strong relationships with the team and clients.
- Conducting professional development reviews and fostering learning opportunities
- Oversight of daily operations.
- Coordination of rosters and timesheets.
- Stock control.
- Recruitment and performance management of team members.
- Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety compliance.
- Budget management and ongoing assessment of P&L's for expected outcomes.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Demonstrated people management and customer service skills.
- Resourcefulness with strong leadership and planning abilities.
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
- 2+ years of experience in a Practice Manager or Leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on cultivating a positive team culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Adaptability and a willingness to support change within the team and clinic.
- High-level customer service skills and confidence in resolving client complaints.
- Experience with Ezyvet (preferred, but not essential).
