I am on the lookout for a seasoned Practice Manager with a robust background in healthcare to manage my client's most strategically important clinic to the growth of 'future leaders' in this business as well as train and develop 'best practice' for all locations around Queensland.
Situated in the shopping center complex at Cannon Hill, this clinic services both local and regional clients and is a fulltime position, at 38 hours per week, with some flexibility to accommodate operational needs.
As a key player in this role, you will not only contribute to the clinic's growth but also spearhead its day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities
Reporting directly to the State Manager, and supported by a very strong 2IC, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless daily operations of this large and diverse practice while also identifying and growing future leaders and building their capability in best practice.
Some of your key tasks are:
Coordinating and liaising with a strong team of clinicians
Managing and providing, sometimes, 'hand's on' support to your administration and clinic team members
Overseeing accounts, budgets, finance management, and information technology
Managing all human resources responsibilities, including training, mentoring, rostering, administration and nursing staff
Delivering exceptional levels of assistance and communication to your valued patients and clients
Driving business development and promoting the clinic, with a specific focus on Occupational Health services
About you
The ideal candidate possesses recent and similar practice management experience of between 3-5 years, within the medical industry, preferably in General Practice or an Occupational Health environment. Leadership experience, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is crucial.

You are an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident and able to undertake a successful Police Check.
