Located within Epworth Eastern Box Hill - a reputable and patient-focused specialist Rheumatology Practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to their loyal and growing patient base.
This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative team, in an expanding medical business, in a contemporary environment with exceptional views.
As the Practice Manager you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, and be responsible for the effective management and the positive patient experience. You will lead a team of loyal admin and clinical staff in the continuing and ongoing success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage patient administration being; appointment scheduling, patient flow, invoicing, receipting, reconciliation of banking and processing of medicare and eclipse payments. Maintain accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality within the practice
- Day to day administration of the practice and compliance, identify and resolve operational issues as required
- Oversee the recruitment, training and development of administration staff
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for all team members and Doctors
- Xero accounting software including payroll and accounts desirable but not essential
About you;
- Previous experience in a medical/reception/administrative role
- Excellent time management, organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, committed and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, display initiative and has the ability to problem solve.
- Have confidence in computer skills, using Medical Software (Genie preferred not essential) and Microsoft Office
- Current Police Check, Working with Children, First Aid Certificate
