We are seeking a Practice Nurse for our General Practice clinic. Located in central Bendigo in the health precinct, we are proud to offer an excellent collaborative framework within a friendly and enthusiastic team. The position
Registered Nurse, part-time, 3 days per week
Key responsibilities are including, but not limited to
Chronic disease management planning
Health assessments
Addressing of patients’ clinical concerns over the phone/ triaging calls
Wound care
Immunisations
Performing ECGs
Cold chain vaccine management
Assisting with minor surgical and other procedures such as ear syringing
Setting up clinical environment and stock management
Infection control
Coordination of clinical reminders and recalls
Working and planning within the team to optimise patient outcomes and satisfaction
You will be working within a team which all contibute to the above tasks
Skills and experience we are looking for include
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration, RN qualified
Computer literacy (experience in Best Practice or similar software an advantage)
Possessing a valid Working with Children check
