Our modern medical practice is seeking a friendly, mature, energetic and highly motivated Division 1 Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. Our privately billed practice is located in the vibrant leafy green suburb of Ashburton. It is 5 minutes’ walk from the train station and close to local buses.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a great growing practice, that serves a wonderful community. We would love to meet someone with a passion for providing an excellent level of patient care and support.
Skills and experience required for this role:
- GP Practice Nurse experience ESSENTIAL
- Care Plans, Chronic disease management and Health Assessments
- Knowledge of Medicare item numbers including billings
- Recall management
- Ability to work independently under own initiative ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills ESSENTIAL
- Injury management and wound care
- Assisting with minor surgery
- Management of treatment room and stock control
- Triaging patients
Essential criteria:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current Nursing Registration (AHPRA)
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser
- Current CPR certificate
- Valid Working with Children Certificate
- Ability to work Part Time
