Form of workWe are looking for a Part Time Practice Nurse to join our vibrant, busy General Practice in Northbridge. No Weekend work!!
Depending on your level of experience remuneration ranges from $35-$42 per hour. Flexibility and work-life balance with 3 days per week required (Wed, Thu, Fri)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- General Nursing
- Performing health assessments and care plans
- Administering vaccines, post vaccination observations and monitoring
- Triaging patients and prioritisation of emergency situations
- Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures
- Wound dressings and removal of sutures
- Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data
- Recall - non urgent
For success in this role you need:
- to be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA - essential
- to have proven prior experience in General Practice or similar
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Basic IT skills - Best Practice software a bonus
On the job training will be provided. You will be supported by 2 other Registered Nurses, 12 Doctors and 3 Reception staff.
