The Role
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to join our global construction team, based in Perth, Australia. Reporting to the Global Head of Construction, this role plays is vital to our international construction operations and requires highly-developed communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams across the business, and within client organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with national construction partners to establish, develop and maintain high-quality relationships across Australia, building strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Supporting bid directors in developing and deploying win-strategies to maximise successful outcomes.
- Supporting optimisation of construction design and planned delivery, in liaison with NHOA global construction team.
- Supporting contract reviews ensuring to facilitate input from key stakeholders including technical and legal teams to ensure terms reflect NHOA Energy preferred policy positions.
- Maintaining and supporting tender clarifications and contract negotiations through to contract execution.
- Close collaboration with stakeholders such as in-house business development, legal counsel, technical team and senior management.
- Prepare documentation and presentation material for briefings with clients, internal stakeholders, and JV partners.
- Lead construction risk and opportunity reviews & workshops,
- Support the coordination of handover phase of successful opportunities.
About You
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Australian construction or project management
- Desirable tertiary degree in Engineering, Law or Commerce (or proven relevant experience)
- Experience bidding with construction firms across various contracting structures (D&C, EPC, Supply-Only)
