We are seeking an Pre-Contracts Engineer to join our National Water Team.
About the Role:
The Pre-Contracts Engineer will support Enviropacific’s National Water Division in the delivery of complex water project tenders and provide leadership in procurement management initiatives throughout the tendering lifecycle.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Preparing and developing cost estimates for all technical and commercial bids in collaboration with the Pre-Contracts Lead.
- Developing and managing key RFQ tender documents including suppliers and subcontractors’ tender packs.
- Negotiating contracts and managing purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to key project timeframes.
About You:
You will be an experienced estimator who is looking for a new challenge and wanting to assist in the development of our business in this rapidly expanding market.
To be considered for this position you will possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years experience working in either Estimating or Procurement within the Water Treatment Industry.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting specifications and commercial contract conditions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team to deliver tenders and proposals.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
