We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Project/Contract Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative aspects of projects and contracts, ensuring their smooth execution from start to finish. You will work closely with various teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant materials.
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project execution.
- Ensure accurate record keeping including the maintenance of progress claims and invoicing.
- Communicate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and address any issues that may arise.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with the resolution of project-related disputes or conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Draft and prepare tender documents for new projects and maintain response libraries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field, and/or proven relevant experience.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting Systems (Xero preferred).
- Knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements will be highly regarded.
