The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity available for Pricing Analyst to join our Group Pricing team at AIA. Within these roles, you will support the Pricing Specialist and Pricing Business Partner to provide product and pricing terms for a specified portfolio of clients. The focus will involve performing and/or reviewing pricing and profit testing within agreed timelines. You will work closely with the Partnership team, Product, Reinsurance and Actuarial teams to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.
To do this successfully you will:
Review and advise on the terms of existing products in addition to contributing to the design of new products.
Develop and maintain pricing models and pricing assumptions whilst conducting profitability analysis.
Analyse product-related financial risks and manage product-specific reinsurance arrangements.
Manage portfolios and conduct regular loss ratio analysis reviews to determine profitability & experience for large key client account.
Provide pricing options to stakeholders and creating recommendations in pricing for product offerings.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Prior experience as a Pricing Analyst with proven knowledge in Group insurance preferred, but not essential
A background in Actuarial studies with progress towards Actuarial Fellowship qualifications desirable
Sound understanding of actuarial concepts, IBNR, capital, profit and value measures.
Understanding of the key drivers of the Group Insurance market
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an understanding of performance targets and measurement
Strong knowledge in computer programing languages such as R.
