We are currently seeking a Pricing Director to join our dynamic team in Sydney!Reporting to the Head of Pricing, APAC, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of pricing solutions for new business, expansion, and renewal pursuits for Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including business lines, service lines, account teams, pursuit teams, and subject matter experts, to shape the overall value proposition, develop commercial strategies, and ensure the accuracy of our pricing process.What this role involves:
- Develop the commercial strategy and approach for global or regional large-scale bids
- Lead or oversee large-scale bids in the local Australia market
- Specialise in multiple product pricing strategies
- Manage and provide guidance to internal teams on models, pricing, and cost inputs
- Effectively manage multiple external and internal stakeholders to meet client requirements
- Manage P&L, cash flow, and risk modeling
- Conduct CRB deal reviews and presentations on the commercial model and P&Ls for major deals
- Collaborate with business group leaders and the board to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities
- Lead client-facing deal negotiations and provide agility beyond pricing and commercials
- Manage and develop the pricing team in Australia
- Champion a culture of collaboration and teamwork
- Implement consistent processes, tools, and forms to improve pricing efficiency and accuracy
- Establish and track cost benchmarking and competitor pricing analysis
- Support the development of global pricing tools, costing methodologies, and process changes
- Deploy and adopt new processes and tools within AP as appropriate
- Undertake due diligence and baselining activities when required
- Analyse commercial data for renewals and make recommendations for future improvements
- Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Provide client consultancy services
- Contribute to management reporting as needed
- Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience in pricing and commercial modeling, preferably in complex outsourcing contracts
- Prior experience in commercial real estate industry will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a people manager
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of comfort in dealing with numerical data and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Confident in client-facing and board-level situations
- Strong people management skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to manage multiple work streams under demanding time pressure
