- Testing: Perform tests on produce samples to measure quality, size, and purity, ensuring only the highest quality produce reaches the market.
- Hygiene Compliance: Ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all stages, from storage to packing to transport vehicles.
- Education: Educate and inform primary producers and the public on matters relating to producing health, disease control, and pest management.
- Technology Update: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices for optimal yield and quality of produce.
- Water System Monitoring: Patrol and investigate water systems, which are crucial to maintaining production quality.
