As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic journey, providing personalised assistance, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions based on the specific needs of students.
- Assist students in understanding challenging concepts and improve their academic performance.
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning strategies.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to motivate students.
- Keep track of student progress and communicate with parents or guardians when necessary.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational trends.
Qualifications:
- Acheived a minimum Band 6 mark in English Advanced or E3 mark in English Extension 1
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping both primary and secondary students
