Grace Lutheran Primary School is a great little stand-alone primary school on the Redcliffe Peninsula. We are well established school that was established in 1971. Our school is co-educational and is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia (Queensland District). We are open to persons who support the philosophy of the school, without discrimination as to class, race or belief.

Grace Primary has beautiful modern facilities and is a well established and resourced school of around 470 students (P-6). We have a newly established Early Learning Centre onsite and have a strong relationship with Grace Creche & Kindergarten (Redcliffe) and Grace Lutheran College (Rothwell, Yrs 7-12).
About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and passionate classroom teacher to begin in Term 2. There may be possibility for the role to extend beyond 2024. NB. We are also seeking teachers to add to our relief teaching team.
Classroom teachers are responsible for teaching their class English, Mathematics and Integrated Studies (transdisciplinary units with a conceptual inquiry approach). Social emotional education is also an important part of our education program with The Resilience Project and Restorative Practices as core components.
Class teachers work strongly within their collaborative year level teams and design units to engage, educate and excite their diverse learners.
Class teachers receive 3 hours 40 minutes non-contact time a week when their learners go to specialist lessons of Japanese, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Christian Studies and STEM.
ExperienceGraduate or early career teachers are encouraged to apply. Experienced teachers will also be considered.
