Tradewind is collaborating with a small Catholic primary school in Sunshine, in Melbourne bustling West, offering a middle Primary teaching role, starting this term. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a community-minded teaching and learning environment. You'll work collaboratively within a small teaching team in a traditional classroom setting. The school is conveniently located near public transport and offers a supportive environment, specifically teaching Grade 4, with team teaching opportunities.Key duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum
- Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
- Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.

- Demonstrate previous experience in Primary teaching, although graduates are welcome to apply
