This is an opportunity to drive the delivery of a major national project in Western Australia that will enable organisations in the disability sector to enhance the life outcomes of people living with disability.
The Opportunity
The National Disability Data Asset (NDDA) is an integrated data resource, comprising linked data from all Australian governments, including Commonwealth data. The NDDA will be underpinned by a reusable, people-centred linked data sharing resource known as the Australian National Data Integration Infrastructure (ANDII). The NDDA is a major national project that aims to give a more complete picture of the life experience of people with disability. Click to learn more about the NDDA.
We are seeking an analytical and results driven professional to join and lead the NDDA project, this opportunity is for the period of May 2024 to December 2025.
The Principal Advisor role is the Jurisdictional Implementation Lead (JIL) for the NDDA in Western Australia.
- You will engage and liaise with other JILs, the Commonwealth and all State Government agencies involved in the project; such as WA Police, Mental Health Commission, Health, Justice, Education and the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA).
- You will contribute and coordinate WA responses to the strategic, planning, legal and data sharing documents required for the NDDA and ANDII project.
- You will oversee all aspects of the NDDA project: financial management; secretariat function to the NDDA project board; monitoring and reporting on the project deliverables; leading meetings and presentations; and, writing ministerials, briefing notes and business cases for the project.
