Make a difference as a Business Agility Principal

Your role
Are you looking to make a difference that directly contributes to business outcomes? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Business Agility Principal within the Direct Insurance Australia (DIA) Division.
This role will focus on how we can help our business to leverage agile and lean principles, mindsets, behaviours, and ways of working in how we operate.
In the role you will identify opportunities at Division, Business Unit and Team level to uplift our ability to adapt and respond quickly, make good decisions fast and execute them quickly.
Leveraging contemporary best practice, you will drive the adoption of changes fit for the IAG context across our people and systems of work. The role will particularly focus where cross functional expertise and stakeholder collaboration is required to succeed. You will drive the right balance between the speed, flexibility and responsiveness required to effectively address challenges and opportunities, and the appropriate levels of risk management and quality control.
You will develop a Business Agility centre of excellence to support ongoing embedment and acceleration of our agility uplift. You will also connect with stakeholders across the broader IAG group to drive ongoing improvement in how we run our business and deliver on the Group and Divisional strategies and plans.
This is a permanent role open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
About You
• Your experience, presence and interpersonal skills enable you to inspire, motivate and influence at all levels (particularly senior / executive level)
• Your coaching, facilitation and communication skills enable you to uplift the capability of others and influence to a desired outcome
• You cultivate innovation within your team and colleagues, demonstrate and encourage life-long learning and continuous improvement
• You ask the right questions, connect the dots, form the relationships, understand the impacts of making a change and the consequences of not
• You collaborate, contribute and create in a constantly changing environment
• You have demonstrated experience in driving transformation to agile and lean ways of working, successfully breaking down complex corporate environments and organisational complexity, and enabling effective systems of work at scale (e.g. across Division and between Divisions)
• You have expert knowledge of Agile frameworks and are able to apply them pragmatically to suit different contexts
