Principal Business Analyst

What you'll do:

As a Principal Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our client's data strategy. You will be responsible for reviewing the current status of the Internal Audit Branch (IAB) Data Strategy and developing a new plan for 2024-2030. Your role will involve extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring that all elements of the data plan are effectively mapped and agreed upon. Your ability to facilitate open communication between different stakeholder groups will be crucial in this role.

Reviewing the status of the existing Internal Audit Branch (IAB) Data Strategy 2019-2024 and developing the IAB Data Plan for 2024-2030
Analysing departmental data plans/strategies to ensure alignment with the future direction of the department
Taking ownership of solution design and working with various stakeholders to finalise a compatible design based on industry best practices
Providing high level of expertise in establishing and documenting IAB Data Plan through structured research and analysis techniques
Ensuring traceability is mapped and agreed for all data plan elements through to system and business requirements
Initiating communications between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for defined groups and facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders

The ideal candidate for this Principal Business Analyst role brings a wealth of experience in business analysis, particularly within HR business/IT environments. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which enable you to effectively gather information from stakeholders and understand their needs. Your extensive process and data modelling skills will be crucial in analysing and decomposing business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. Your clear understanding of project management and system development methodologies will be key to your success in this role.
