AddressOne of our clients based here in Melbourne is looking for a Principal Engineer who specialises in AWS & Azure to head up their Cloud and DevOps capability. This role is a hands on role that will design, build, deploy and manage all of their enterprise Cloud infrastructure for Internal and External customers.
You will own Cloud architecture making sure best practices are implemented across standards including; Security, D/R, Monitoring, Reliability, Performance, Networks, and Storage. You will be part of a business unit that is scaling in users and services delivered to customers. This is a multi cloud environment across AWS and Azure.
About You:
· Strong hands-on experience with a range of Cloud services in AWS and ideally some Azure
· Experience with Web services, various cloud databases, Linux systems admin , Networking, and be across different languages
· A wealth of experience in source control (Git/Github), Containers and Container Orchestration, zero downtime deployments, config management within AWS and CI/CD tooling (What good looks like and the pro’s and con’s of different platforms)
· Experience in identifying and requirement gathering to define a Cloud solution, by providing best practice on architecture.
· FinOps and Cost optimisation.
· Experience in Cloud Security and performance
You must be based in Melbourne and be open to a hybrid work environment.
