The Principal Commercial Analyst will develop financial models including options analysis discounted cash flow analysis, cost benefit analysis, risks analysis, and scenario analysis and also provide financial due diligence to business case proposals to ensure financial viability, as well as monitoring the cost benefit realisation as the Supply Chain Branch evolves.
About Supply Chain Surety Branch:
Supply Chain Surety is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director. The Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all Hospital and Health Services, Queensland Government and some external agencies.
What we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis and commercial activities in a large scale in a commercial setting, preferably in either the health care sector or the supply chain sector.
High level knowledge and application of, appropriate business analysis skills, and an ability to promote and provide advice on use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools.
Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
