About the Role
The role can be based in Perth (Australia), Bangalore (India) or Singapore.
In this role, you will be a part of a team accountable for designing, delivering and maintaining applications in the Marketing & Maritime (Outbound) portfolio. You will drive the development technology strategy for our team, including roadmap activities, lifecycle management and technical standard adherence.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Providing expertise and assurance around the design of both ERP and Non-ERP Marketing and Maritime solutions, ensuring consideration against BHP’s architecture guardrails, existing infrastructure and overarching technology strategy.
- Working with Solution Architects across a number of projects to ensure a consistent, coherent approach to solution development in the Marketing & Maritime portfolio – approving solution designs to manage quality.
- Optimising the solution landscape to ensure simplification, standardisation, cost effectiveness.
- Support the DevOps team to ensure operational stability – problem solving and troubleshooting of incidents.
- Providing thought-leadership and strategic thinking around emerging technology and associated risks.
- Liaising with key business stakeholders in the Marketing and Maritime function to understand domain-level processes, issues, and how to solve business problems.
- Working in collaboration with the Marketing / Maritime function to drive the development of the digital roadmap
About You
- Qualification in Computer Science or other technical discipline.
- Good understanding of the Marketing domain
- Proven background in Solution Architecture delivering complex/global applications.
- Working exposure to technologies such as cloud computing (AWS + Azure), data engineering (Snowflake, DBT, SQL), software development (C#.NET, JavaScript), integration tooling and SAP (architecture and development).
- Strong ability to translate technical and non-technical concepts to audiences across all levels of the organisation.
- Good understanding of Project Management (Agile & Waterfall), Risk Management, CyberSecurity concepts, Continuous Improvement, ITIL (service management).
- Experience with SAP Customer Experience Suite, SAP SD/MM/TMS, CTRM, Trading, Freight solutions highly desirable.
- TOGAF certification is desirable.
