Our Energy Team in Sydney have created an exciting opportunity for a ' Principal Electrical Engineer - Earthing & Bonding ' within our 'Transmission and Distribution' team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals and be instrumental in delivering landmark projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The primary focus of this role is to undertake earthing system design, modelling, and testing for Transmission & Distribution projects, Industrial installations, and Railway projects.
As a Principal Engineer within the team, you will actively participate in and contribute to the winning, management, and delivery of moderate to large-scale projects whilst enhancing client and working relationships.
You will also inspire and support the development and training of leading-edge technical skills and understand how to practically apply them in ways that add value to AECOM and its clients.
Qualifications
As a Principal Engineer within our Energy Team, you will possess some of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience in delivering Earthing & Bonding designs
Solid experience in HV and LV earth grid design and testing
Earth grid modelling experience in CDEGS software, or equivalent
In-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines
Knowledge of AC and DC traction power systems (optional but highly desirable)
