Principal engineer / technical director

Principal Coastal Modeller / Engineer - Technical Director to take over running of Water Resources / Environmental Solutions and Hydrodynamics Service Line (2-3 direct reports).

This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Newcastle.

The Consultancy:

• International Consultancy with very reputable water brand in Australia of circa 100+ ppl
• Resources are utilised Nationally and across APAC
• Advisory and Design of Major and Minor Projects in the Coastal, Ports, Maritime, Defence and Offshore Renewables Infrastructure
• Team broadly providing Port Planning, MetOcean, Resilience, Flooding, Drainage, Hydrology, Modelling, Structural and Civil Engineering Design

The Role:

• This role is to provide Technical Direction and team leadership to the Water Resources team
• Typically, we generate work through technical excellence.
• Provide advice, modelling and consulting services in and around the wider business needs around the Freshwater and Coastal environments
• Large dredging and reclamation projects with Defence, Coastal Modelling and Hydrodynamics for Inlets and Beaches with Councils and Ports/Mariners

Salary is at $200,000+
