About the Role
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
- Specific duties will include research support for the screening, consent, and randomisation of patients for clinical trials, department quality improvement and assurance activities, acute pain management service ward rounds, perioperative assessment clinic, and procedural work.
- Participation in the on-call roster to provide after-hours services in accordance with the needs of Health Service
- Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
- To provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals provide inpatient outpatient care by assessing patients, determining and instigating appropriate investigation.
