Some of your responsibilities as the Principal Lead Analyst will include:
- Guide, influence, and negotiate with senior management and technical staff, offering strategic design direction and solutions using various development tools within:
- Data analytics, reporting platforms, on-premises, and cloud solutions.
- A variety of vendor-managed and COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products (ServiceNow and Atlassian, etc).
- Manage the entire development lifecycle, from planning to implementation, for product releases. This includes overseeing testing, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring product releases are production ready.
- Oversee and manage the data assets of the organisation, leading the development and implementation of data strategies and data governance frameworks that align with business objectives and ensures data quality, security, and compliance.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of data policies, standards, and best practices, and ensuring that the data assets are properly documented, catalogued, and maintained.
- Manage a program of work for a technical service delivery team, including project work and business-as-usual tasks. Allocate technical.
resources effectively, maintain priorities, and ensure timely delivery in line with agreed milestones.
- Contribute to the optimization of the department's information architecture and application development processes, provide technical advice, and reports for informed management decisions, and participate in forums addressing Information Management/Information Technology issues. Promote best practices within the Information Technology Branch, reviewing technical documentation and mentoring other technical staff in effective system development techniques and problem-solving.
