The opportunity
The Lead Revenue Analyst reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overall revenue quality, compliance and analysis across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing revenue governance across all revenue streams, with a specific emphasis on CCS compliance, encompassing reporting and related requirements;
- Delivering comprehensive reporting and analysis on past and future revenue trends to Senior Management and the Board;
- Assessing performance against business objectives through in-depth data analysis, offering valuable insights into key performance drivers;
- Tracking monthly revenue performance across divisions and business units, employing data mining techniques for thorough analysis;
- Orchestrating and supervising finance systems to ensure the accurate and timely generation of accounts and reports;
- Providing detailed analysis and commentary on revenue-related aspects of financial accounts and reports;
- Possessing a nuanced understanding of pricing strategy, market dynamics and competitive landscape;
- Acting as the Business Owner for strategic, operational and compliance aspects of system and revenue process changes, collaborating closely with relevant Systems Product owners, notably XAP, in overseeing and approving configuration or design modifications;
- Establishing or refining general procedures, management reports and systems to enhance efficiency;
- Offering insights on potential opportunities arising from changes in CCS and other industry schemes; and
- Serving as the representative of the business in engagements with relevant government entities, processes and contracts.
Must have skills / experience
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrable expertise in financial and revenue analysis, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in this field;
- A thorough comprehension of revenue models and pricing structures within the Early Learning sector or comparable industries;
- Proven capacity to tackle business obstacles with creativity and adaptability, displaying a resilient and forward-thinking approach;
- Strong leadership qualities evident in the ability to inspire high-performance teams, foster engagement and align objectives with a clear sense of purpose; and
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, communication and change management, facilitating effective collaboration and smooth transitions amidst organisational transformations.
