Wandoan State School P-10 is located in Wandoan on the Leichhardt Highway between Miles and Taroom. Students attending Wandoan State School come from a mix of farming and town-based residences. The school has a strong culture of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and the 3 values of respect, responsibility, reaching are taught from prep through to year 10.

As the Principal you will:
- Deliver the vision of the department.
- Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools.
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning .

You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.

- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Active participants in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.

- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
- Manage resources to achieve goals.
