Form of workback to search Principal Mining Engineer Our Client Is an ASX listed junior explorer with studies underway to facilitate the development of assets in South America. About you Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will support the operational and technical elements of the project, developing the mine design and operational frameworks.
As study works progress you will similarly be responsible for the initial design and establishment of a set of mine operations control system frameworks to ensure the appropriate management and risk mitigations systems are in place prior to operations; appropriate people are recruited and trained; and processing related production mining systems are in place utilizing best practice. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Undertake all design and scheduling work for the mining component of the feasibility study, including geotechnical and hydrogeological evaluations. Develop robust financial modelling for the mine, which facilitates a real understanding of the risks (physical and financial) associated with the proposed development and allows an informed FID to be made on the project.
Design the strategic framework of the mine operations systems, controls and processes to ensure all mobile and fixed plant assets are optimised to meet or exceed company targets and expectations - encompassing mine to mill, to ensure optimal recovery of the resource, Design and develop mine operations control systems to ensure all mining activities operate safely at an environmentally appropriate standard and capacity, while ensuring life-of-mine optimisation, and Identify and develop mine operational control strategies, systems, policies and procedures to continually improve ongoing mining and recovery performance. ???? ???
