We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Principal Organisational Development Consultant to join our collaborative team for a period of 12 months to lead a range of organisational initiatives.
Remuneration
Classification: ASO7, Salary Range: $106,512 - $115,137 p.a.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the People and Performance team at The Department of Treasury and Finance as Organisational Development consultant and really drive the development, implementation and delivery of key Organisational Development initiatives.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships with organisational leaders in the department to ensure programs and initiatives to build capability and performance are aligned to business needs and drive business outcomes.
The role is also responsible for the provision of Organisational Development related psychological services across the department, including Psychometric assessment administration, interpretation, reporting and feedback and One-on-one coaching and consulting.
About you
Working under limited direction, you will be proactive and driven with experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of Organisational Development programs and outcomes.
You will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships easily and have experience in providing support and leadership. You will possess high level verbal and written communication skills and be passionate about providing practical advice and solutions to complex Organisational Development issues
To be successful, you will need:
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to research and analyst complex problems, evaluate new initiatives and technologies and formulate strategies to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Ability to bring innovative approaches to the role and to research and identify solutions.
- Experience in providing OD related psychological services to a range of clients, including the administration and interpretation of psychometric assessments.
- Sound understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Sound understanding of current work practices, trends and issues in relation to organisational psychology, learning organisations, encouragement of diversity and management of culture change.
- Experience in project managing the development and delivery of major Organisational Development initiatives.
