Job description

About the Role

  • The overall responsibility for managing the successful delivery of large scale, complex projects, including the management and coordination of both clinical and non-clinical project resources, to ensure delivery is to budget, schedule and quality standards. This includes effectively allocating tasks, tracking and managing performance and coaching team members.
  • Research, analyse, interpret, and assimilate complex information for the development of papers, briefing documents, submissions, plans, detailed reports and other correspondence as required and effectively and clearly present the key elements to stakeholders, as required.
  • Develop and manage formal and comprehensive project plans, budgets and registers, detailing scope, schedules, costs, deliverables, milestones, organisational change requirements, dependencies, quality, issues, risks and benefits.
  • Implement project management best practices and ensure work is conducted in alignment with Metro South Health, Queensland Health and Queensland Government project management frameworks, legislation, policy and procedure.
