If you're looking for an opportunity to support the development of the digital initiatives across the Department of Education, International - this role is for you. We are looking for motivated individuals who are able to proactively engage with stakeholders, unpack complexity and detail, and support decision making during the implementation of International Student Management Student uplift project. The role requires you to support the Product Owner in the capacity of a delegate. This position is offered on a temporary full-time position for a period of 6 months unless otherwise determined.
Your Role:
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Director, ISP define and manage the product vision and strategy, for the International Student Management Student uplift project.
- Create and prioritise a product backlog (a list of features and requirements) that aligns with the product vision and goals, and continuously refine it based on feedback and changing business needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. vendor, developers, board and quality assurance) to ensure that the product meets customer needs and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team, escalate to the Director ISP as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders (e.g., customers, partners, executives, and other departments) on matters related to the product.
- Continuously monitor the product's performance and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritise future improvements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the landscape, emerging trends, and new technologies that may impact the product's success.
- Review and endorse documentation.
