You will perform the role of CASA Form 4 Quality Manager for Fixed and Rotary Wing Part 145 and Part 42 organisations, and will be responsible for auditing schedules, ensuring hazards and risks are identified and managed effectively and efficiently, overseeing the organisations document control systems and processes, undertaking research and analysis to prepare reports and presentations to QGAir senior leadership, and continuous development of processes, procedures and staff training.
Key Accountabilities:
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
Develop, implement, and manage a Quality Management System (QMS) which assures ongoing compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulatory requirements and ISO 9001 for all aspects of Aviation Operations.
Develop, implement, and manage an Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) which assures ongoing compliance with Part 145 of the CASR 1998.
Perform the role of CASA Form 4 Quality Manager for Fixed and Rotary Wing Part 145 and Part 42 organisations, including the provision of continuous staff training.
Develop a robust audit schedule and undertake audits of QGAir and external supplier processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and identify quality improvement opportunities.
Develop, implement and manage the organisations Management of Change (MOC) processes for QGAir, ensuring the effective and efficient identification and management of associated hazards and risks whilst maintaining compliance with CASA regulations.
Develop, implement and manage the organisations document control systems and processes to ensure QGAir personnel have access to current, approved and controlled data and documentation.
Research, analyse, and prepare high level reports and presentations to QGAir senior leadership in the performance of QGAir's QMS, recommending improvements and corrective action when required.
Develop processes and procedures for the ongoing maintenance of QGAir's Air Operator's Certification and training requirements to address potential deficiencies and implement changes for continuous improvement and CASA regulatory compliance.
Mandatory requirements:
Documentation & Certification:
Ability to attain CASA Form 4 approval as Quality Manager
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Qualifications & Training:
Lead Auditors Certification (Course Completion)
Highly desirable: Qualifications & Training:
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
Knowledge and Experience:
ISO 9001 Quality Systems
High level knowledge of CASA (or similar NAA) regulatory environment.
Aviation Operations (Fixed and Rotary Wing) auditing experience
Project Management methodologies
Staff management experience within a quality assurance environment
Proven track record of developing and managing quality systems and quality assurance programs.
Special Conditions:
In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
Intrastate travel will be required.
The successful applicant must comply with the organisations Drug and Alcohol Management Plan.
