Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to work as a Quality & Compliance Officer. The role will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring the efficient monitoring of NDIS reporting and compliance functions. Specifically we are looking for a motivated individual who possesses knowledge of NDIS Commission reporting requirements for restrictive practices and able to implement compliance systems and processes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that meet NDIS Standards and legislation
- Interpret both quantitative and qualitative data and prepare accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders specifically relating to restrictive practices
- Support the monitoring of quality and risk systems and work practices to identify compliance to standards.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews
- Identify gaps across current policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues
- Develop and undertake regular quality control processes to ensure compliance.
- Oversee and conduct program monthly audits and quality inspections and follow up as necessary.
- Support and coordinate the updating and maintaining of Policies and Procedures to comply with latest legislation and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Develop and maintain a high-level working knowledge of the electronic support systems.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Min. 2 years’ experience in NDIS or Out of Home Care sector experience, essential you have the experience of working within the Disability sector / NDIS.
- Min. 2 years’ experience in similar role or with equivalent experience.
- Ideally a background in clinical care would be preferred, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of NDIS standards, relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
