What will you do?
Our Perth rail team is continuing to grow off the back of sustained workload across passenger and heavy haul throughout the state.
As Principal Engineer you will deliver design and consultancy services, identify work winning opportunities and oversee a team of engineers. Collaborating with the wider rail team and other disciplines to deliver infrastructure projects providing you with wider exposure and understanding.
Your experience and knowledge will be well regarded, and you will play a crucial role in the continued growth of our transport infrastructure business. Specifically, you will:
Lead and oversee the delivery of complex multidisciplinary rail projects
Coach and mentor the development of junior and mid-level members of the team
Provide technical advice to project teams, clients and key stakeholders
Lead and oversee the preparation of engineering drawings and reports, winning work including technical proposals and engineering specifications in conjunction with wider team/s
Manage resources, subcontractors, and costs to deliver projects
What can you bring to the team?
This key appointment to the Perth Transport team as we continue to develop our offering in this space. To play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the group going forward, you will need:
Professionally qualified Engineer in a relevant field
Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams
Ability to build, maintain and manage strong client relationships
Extensive experience working on major and multidisciplinary rail projects with a strong preference for those with front end, D&C or Alliance delivery environments
Working knowledge of the requirements of digital focussed ‘model based’ project delivery
